Palmbout Urban Landscapes produces spatial designs for the domains of urban planning, landscape and exterior space. They encompass a great diversity of situations and a great diversity of scale levels, ranging from regional plans to street profiles, from urban centres to motorway intersections, from study projects to building plans. The projects include large urban extensions such as IJburg, Ypenburg and sections of Leidsche Rijn. We give shape to the regeneration of the post-war city by means of plans for the Lelylaan and Staalmanplein neighbourhood in Amsterdam West, the Lijnbaan area in Rotterdam and the 20th century belt around Antwerp. We have long-term involvement as designers and supervisors in the redevelopment of Parkstad-Rotterdam, Ede-Oost and Maastricht-Belvédère, among many other projects. Furthermore, we make detailed landscape plans, plans at a regional scale, new residential neighbourhoods, and studies into the integration of infrastructural works.
We are active in the Netherlands, Flanders and the United States of America.
